Worked in the mountain for firewood

The work place was almost at top of the mountain.

These branches are for the firewood.
Me(Yohei) and a borrowed truck.
Logs are pulled down from slope of the mountain with overhead wire.
Thick trees are for shiitake mushroom logs.
This truck is not one I drove.
Forestry workers are tough.
The firewood of this time.

On this day I helped forestry work for firewood. The work place was top of the hill near Shikoku Karst.

We use fire when steaming and boiling the fibers. BLOG “Boiling fiber” .

I was making stack of the branches to wire them.

The branches are put at the lumber mill for a while until they are cut in 100 cm. It is the best length for our fire place.
