The guest room is connecting room in 2nd floor of our studio. Two Japanese style bed room with separated toilet, bathroom and washroom.

Wallpaper, sliding door and lampshades are made with Kamikoya’s hand made paper

Bed Rooms

Large room (up to 4 people)

Bed room with the Japanese tatami mat.
Lampshade with vine and Japanese paper. Wall paper and “Shoji” sliding door.
This sliding door is designed one piece with two doors.
Wall paper close to hager is persimmon paper.

Small room(up to 2 people)

Bed room with the Japanese tatami mat.
Several kinds of handmade paper are used for the wall paper.
Please enjoy the detailed textures of each sheets.

The small washroom is separated from the toilet and the bathroom.
Please bring your own toothbrush for sustainable society. (We have toothbrush for sale)

Terrace and Dining room.


Please enjoy the fresh winds of the mountain at the terrace. We server meals here when the weather is nice.

There are the piano, books and Souvenirs in the dining room.

The half of Kamikoya is paper making mill. Fell free to ask us for a little tour around the studio and manufacturing facilities.

We producing traditional Japanese paper and new style handmade paper here.
This picture is when we are steaming the fiber plants just after the harvesting. If you are lucky you can see this kind of special moments of traditional paper making.
